TIM Brasil, Ericsson and Inatel sign IoT partnership

TIM Brasil, Ericsson and the National Telecommunications Institute (Inatel) signed an agreement to cooperate on developing mobile solutions for smart cities and the Internet of Things (IoT). The partnership will allow the operator to provide Inatel's undergraduate and master's students suggestions for applied research using Ericsson's IoT Accelerator cloud platform. The IoT Accelerator facilitates connectivity for a wide range of objects and assists in collecting and applying associated data. The cooperation is expected to run for two years.
