TIM Brasil grows Q1 revenues 5.4%

TIM Brasil reported a net profit of BRL 306 million for the first quarter of 2013, up 13.9 percent on the same period in 2012. EBITDA grew by 3.9 percent to BRL 1.22 billion, while the EBITDA margin dropped from 26.3 percent in Q1 2012 to 25.9 percent this year. Net revenue was BRL 4.71 billion, up 5.4 percent year-on-year, with revenue from mobile services growing 4.1 percent. The mobile customer base grew 13.2 percent to 11 million lines, while ARPU dropped 3.6 percent to BRL 18.50.
