TIM Brasil selects Huawei for transport network

TIM Brasil and Huawei announced the implementation of a new high-capacity backbone with the Huawei OSN9800l solution. With support for up to 400G/1T, the Huawei platform will increase the data transmission capacity of TIM. In addition to allowing more bandwidth for telecommunications services, Huawei said its 400G/1T technology enables operators to offer fixed and mobile broadband services more efficiently, including content for IPTV and mobile connectivity over LTE-Advanced technology.
