TIM Brasil surpasses 80% 4G reach in OpenSignal report for March-May

TIM became the first Brazilian mobile operator to pass the 80 percent mark for national 4G availability, while Claro and Vivo broke the 70 percent barrier, said OpenSignal in a report on data collected from March to May. Users on TIM's network were able to find a 4G signal 82.4 percent of the time, an increase of nearly 4 percentage points in six months. Claro and Vivo were able to connect to 4G services 71.9 percent and 72.1 percent of the time respectively.
