TIM Brasil to invest BRL 14 billion in 2016-2018

Tuesday 16 February 2016 | 13:41 CET | News
TIM Brasil has announced its business plan for the period 2016-2018. This foresees capital expenditure over the period of a maximum BRL 14 billion, excluding spectrum. That follows an increase in capex last year of 18.8 percent to BRL 4.7 billion. Data is seen as the main service revenue component from 2016, compared to 38 percent of mobile service revenue in 2015. The operator also targets at least BRL 1 billion in cost savings by 2017, helping the EBITDA margin increase each year between 2016-18.
