TIM expands FTTC network to Monte Argentario

Telecom Italia (TIM) has activated a fibre-optic network in the previously underserved localities of Porto Santo Stefano and Porto Ercole on the Monte Argentario peninsula in southern Tuscany. The fibre service is now available in a total of around 4,500 households in the towns, giving customers access to the internet at speeds of up to 200 Mbps.
