TIM looking to cut up to 1,300 jobs this year - report

Tuesday 9 March 2021 | 08:54 CET | News
Telecom Italia (TIM) has reached an agreement with unions that could see the company cut up to 1,300 jobs in Italy this year through a voluntary redundancy scheme, according to two union sources cited by Reuters. The early retirement programme would affect around 3 percent of TIM's total domestic workforce of 42,600 employees in Italy, said the sources, adding that a separate voluntary layoff scheme could see another 178 job cuts by 2023.
