TIM, Samsung reach carrier billing deal

Telecom Italia (TIM) and Samsung have reached a deal to enable TIM customers to pay for apps on the Galaxy Apps Store via their monthly phone bill. TIM said customers can now acquire optimised apps for Samsung smartphones, tablets and smartwatches without using their credit card by simply selecting TIM as the payment option on the app store. The new carrier billing service also covers in-app purchases.
