TIM to bring 1Gbps broadband to Monza in EUR 10 mln rollout

TIM (Telecom Italia) has announced plans to invest EUR 10 million to bring fibre-optic broadband at speeds of between 300 Mbps and 1 Gbps to the city of Monza in the northern Lombardy region. A total of 30,000 households will be connected to the operator's FTTH-based broadband service by the end of 2018, with the service offering minimum speeds of 300 Mbps and potential peak speeds of 1 Gbps when launched.
