Telecom Italia (TIM) has decided to close its Brussels office in a further cost-cutting move by CEO Flavio Cattaneo, reports business daily Il Sole 24 Ore. The office located on Rue de la Loi in the Belgian capital's European quarter is headed by institutional relations vice president Luigi Gambardella and is set to close down as early as this week, said the report. The operator last month decided to transfer 265 employees from Milan and Turin to its Rome office as part of a real estate rationalisation plan.
