Time dotcom revenues jump 10% in Q1

Malaysian fixed-line operator Time dotcom reported first quarter results, with revenues reaching MYR 131.9 million, up 10 percent from the year before, excluding non-recurring revenues from one-off contracts and global bandwidth sales. Growth was mainly driven by higher data and data centre contributions. Pre-tax profit (PBT) surged 28 percent to MYR 31.8 million. CEO Afzal Abdul Rahim said results were driven by demand for faster connectivity. For the full year, the company expects earnings growth to continue with the strong demand for higher speed bandwidth and mobile node fiberisation
