Time Warner invests in video app platform You.i TV

Time Warner Investments has led a USD 12 million Series B funding round for You.i TV, a platform powering the design and delivery of user interfaces for video applications across multiple devices. You.i TV will use the fresh capital to enhance its app designer workflow IP and to continue to grow its partner channels. Additional funding in the round came from new investor Vistara Capital Partners and existing backers Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors. The company's You.i Engine is behind popular video applications from Sony Crackle, the Rogers Communications Shomi SVOD service, Corus
