Timico warns firms about BT internet services switch-off

UK business internet, hosting and communications service provider Timico has warned businesses that the nationwide switch-off of the BT 20CN broadband network at end-March could leave those who have not made the switch-over without internet connectivity. BT's first-generation broadband network provides standard copper broadband service of speeds up to 8 Mbps. As part of the roll-out of superfast broadband, BT is closing some of its older ADSL and SDSL broadband products which only supported speeds of up to 8 Mbps. In locations where up to 16 Mbps ADSL broadband or up to 76 Mbps FTTC broadband
