Tmcel secures USD 200 million loan for network upgrade

Mocambique Telecom (Tmcel) estimates it needs USD 350 million (about MZN 21 billion) to modernize and expand its network and develop 4G and 5G services to compete again with Vodacom and Movitel. CEO Mohamed Rafique Jusob told A Verdade that the company has secured USD 200 million under "very good conditions".
