TNTsat STB sales reach over 1 million

Over 1 million TNTSat set-top boxes have been sold to French TV viewers only 16 months after the service was launched, according SES Astra. As of the end of October 2008, 750,000 STBs had been sold. TNTSat is a free DTT service available from the Astra satellite at 19.2 degrees East. The TNTSat HD service will be launched on 15 February offering high definition channels TF1 HD, France 2 HD, M6 HD, and Arte HD.
