Top 50 operators take 75% of pay-TV revenues - study

The top 50 operators took 75 percent of worldwide pay-TV revenues of USD 185 million in 2016, with 30 pay-TV operators earning more than USD 1 billion, according to a report from Digital TV Research. The US continues to dominate the top 10, with AT&T taking in USD 30.7 billion, followed by Comcast with USD 21.7 billion, Charter with USD 16.3 billion, Dish with USD 13.6 billion and China Radio and TV rounding off the top 5 with USD 9.1 billion.
