Top operators join GSMA Big Data for Social Good project

The GSMA has launched a "Big Data for Social Good" initiative with 16 of the world's leading mobile operators, with the aim of using operator big data capabilities to address humanitarian crises, including epidemics and natural disasters. Participants in the initiative include Bharti Airtel, Deutsche Telekom, Hutchison, KDDI, KT, Millicom, MTS, NTT Docomo, Orange, SK Telecom, Telefonica, Telenor, Telia, Turkcell, Vodafone and Zain.
