Toshiba taps Intel for IoT security of industrial products

Toshiba partnered Intel to reinforce the security capabilities of its IoT and industrial infrastructure system products by adopting Intel's security products, including Intel Security Critical Infrastructure Protection (Cip), security information and event management (SIEM), whitelisting, endpoint security and firewall.  Toshiba and Intel will advance progress by collaborating in pilot projects that aim to validate proof of concepts by the end of March 2016, and develop and optimise Toshiba's security platform offerings using the framework of Intel Cip. The collaboration will protect
