TOT chairman quits

TOT chairman Udom Puasakul has decided to quit after only nine months as head of the state-owned, saying he has failed to adequately perform his job, reports The Bangkok Post. He said he decided to quit three months ago because he was not happy with his own performance in the first six months of his tenure. Puasakul had previously served as director-general of the Department of Public Works and Town and Country Planning. He said the resignation will be effective immediately after the minister receives the letter. Puasakul said he was proud that the phase-one expansion of TOT's 3G network
