TOT tells AWN to pay backdated infra rental fee of THB 1 bln

Thai state-owned operator TOT has asked Advanced Info Service's subsidiary Advanced Wireless Network (AWN) to pay it a backdated network rental fee of over THB 1 billion. TOT told AIS to reach an agreement on the matter within seven days, The Nation reports, citing TOT senior executive vice president Morakot Thienmontree. The rental fee covres the use of TOT's telecom towers and network equipment from October 2015 to June 2016.
