TotalPlay tops Netflix Mexico speed ranking

Triple-play operator Totalplay provided the fastest average residential broadband connection to Netflix in Mexico last month, according to the video streaming company's latest ISP speed index. The operator topped the August ranking with an average prime time speed of 4.21 Mbps, up from 3.89 Mbps a year earlier, followed by Axtel Xtremo with 3.98 Mbps. Televisa's Izzi and America Movil's Telmex Infinitum came in third and fourth with 3.75 Mbps and 3.73 Mbps respectively, while Axtel Aceso Universal rounded out the top 5 with an average speed of 3.67 Mbps.
