TPV to build smart TV services built on IBM Cloud

TPV Technology, the manufacturer of Philips-branded TV sets, has adopted IBM Cloud and IoT services to build new smart features and apps, such as VoD and instant playback, directly into its TVs. TPV selected IBM to develop smart TV services' cloud that includes premium apps as well as video-on-demand. IBM has also created a cloud-based service on IBM Bluemix to enable other TV manufacturers to build, test and deploy new smart TV features.
