TRA gives operators guidelines to bolster defence against cyber attacks

Oman's Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) has directed telecom licensees to strengthen their defences against potential cyber threats. TRA Executive President Hamed Salim al Rawahi said the regulator has issued guidelines requiring operators to safeguard their networks against all kinds of cyber and online risk. The aim is to get licensees to take appropriate technical and operational measures to protect network security and services.
