Trade union criticises MTN South Africa's plan to sell stores

Thursday 15 August 2019 | 11:53 CET | News
The Communication Workers Union (CWU) has criticised MTN's plans to sell its stores in South Africa, reports ITWeb.  Details have not been finalised but MTN's plan has been received with scepticism by employees who fear thousands of jobs may be on the line. CWU secretary general Aubrey Tshabalala said that most of the time if not all of the time, MTN has been engaging CWU in bad faith.
