Transatel and G+D Mobile Security to deliver M2M connectivity for Scania's fleet vehicles

Swedish-based lorry and bus manufacturer Scania has signed an M2M connectivity deal with Transatel and Giesecke+Devrient Mobile Security, which will be implemented by the end of the year. The new partnership will enable Scania to expand the reach of the telematics services it offers to customers leasing its fleet vehicles, while delivering a consistent experience around the world. G+D Mobile Security will provide an eSIM management platform compliant with eUICC (Embedded Universal Integrated Circuit Card) specifications.
