Translation specialist Gengo secures USD 12 mln funding

Japan-based web application translation company Gengo has closed a USD 12 million round of funding led by Intel Capital, along with participation from Iris Capital, Infocomm Investments, NTT-IP Fund and STC Ventures, and from returning investor Atomico. Gengo will use the funds to accelerate global expansion, while also improving its translation platform and increasing the speed of the translation process.
