Trump signs executive order to bolster US govt cybersecurity

US president Donald Trump has signed an executive order to "keep America safe in cyberspace" by significantly strengthening the country's critical infrastructure and the federal government's computer networks against cyber attacks. Under the proposals included in the new order, the director of every federal agency will be responsible for cybersecurity. "Effective risk management requires agency heads to lead integrated teams of senior executives with expertise in IT, security, budgeting, acquisition, law, privacy and human resources," said the order. Each agency now has 90 days to come up
