TTCL begins restructuring with 550 redundancies

State-owned TTCL Corporation has begun restructuring and will make more than 550 employees redundant, and will invest USD 762 million in the next five years, reports the Daily News. TTCL chairman Omar Nundu told the Parliamentary Public Investment Committee (PIC) that under the investment, the corporation seeks to expand its network countrywide and increase its market share, which is currently negligible.
