TTCL requires TZS 1.7 trln for five-year strategy plan

State-owned Tanzania Telecommunications Corporation (TTCL) said it needs TZS 1.77 trillion in capital injection to fund its five-year strategic plan to increase its market share, reports The Citizen. TTCL, which issued a TZS 2.1 billion dividend to the government, has a voice subscription market share of 2 percent, according to latest Tanzania Communications Regulatory Authority (TCRA) figures.
