Tunisian telecom regulator opens consultation on next cycle of market analysis

Friday 15 February 2019 | 16:41 CET | News
The Tunisian telecom authority INT (Instance Nationale des Telecommunications) has published a consultation opening a new cycle of market analysis. This initial stage of the process aims to gather stakeholders' feedback on the definition of the relevant markets for ex-ante regulation. Tunisia set in motion the adoption of the current model of analysis in 2014, similar in principle to the process implemented across the EU. The INT defined a methodology in 2015 and launched the first cycle of analysis under the new rules in August 2016.
