Turk Telekom faces competition investigation over wholesale broadband

Turkey's Competition Authority (RK) launched an investigation into Turk Telekom based on preliminary findings that the company violated the country's competition laws, according to Dailysabah.com citing a RK statement. The statement said RK's action was triggered by a preliminary investigation that found that the operator abused its dominant position in the wholesale fixed broadband internet services market and made it unreasonably and unfairly difficult for rivals to render services and gain subscribers in retail services.
