Turkcell borrows EUR 50 mln from BNP Paribas to improve sustainability

Turkcell entered into a 'Sustainability linked loan' agreement with BNP Paribas for a three-year term loan of EUR 50 million. As part of the agreement, the company set a number of objectives, including electronic waste recycling, using solar energy and decline in paper consumption with increased use of company's digital publishing app Dergilik. The annual cost of the loan will decline should Turkcell successfully meet these objectives.
