Turkcell picks Cisco ASR 5000 Series for mobile data network

Turkcell has deployed the Cisco ASR 5000 Series as the foundation for its advanced mobile internet network. Turkcell selected the Cisco ASR 5000 Series as its long-term Gateway GPRS Support Node (GGSN) platform. Supported on the Cisco ASR 5000 Series, the GGSN application delivers significant throughput, call transaction rates and packet processing, along with significant memory resources.
