Turksat, Inmarsat enter MoU

Monday 14 December 2015 | 12:46 CET | News
Inmarsat and Turksat, the Turkish state-owned satellite operator, entered into a MoU to explore opportunities through the formation of a strategic partnership, initially focussed on the defence and aviation sectors. Under the MoU, Inmarsat is the preferred mobile satellite communications provider for Turksat. With this agreement, Turksat improved its offer and Inmarsat will increase its penetration in this region of the world thanks to Turksat's strong links across the Caucasus and Central Asia.
