TV Azteca Q2 sales plunge 31% on Covid impact

Mexican broadcaster and content producer TV Azteca reported a 31 percent year on year decline in revenues to MXN 1.86 billion in the second quarter of 2020, again attributed to "substantially decreased" advertising sales due to "deterioration of economic performance indicators" during the coronavirus (Covid-19) emergency. The company said its content offer reached a broad presence through Mexican households in the quarter but it reported a net loss of MXN 707 million in Q2 compared to a MXN 112 million gain a year earlier. TV Azteca's EBITDA also fell to MXN 142 million in the April to June
