TV Azteca revenue up 16% in Q4, returns to full-year growth

Mexican broadcaster and content producer TV Azteca reported a 16 percent rise in revenue to MXN 4.08 billion in the fourth quarter of 2019, attributed to a surge in domestic advertising sales. As a result, TV Azteca's EBITDA climbed 15 percent year on year to MXN 1.22 billion while its net profit came in at MXN 1.13 billion compared to a MXN 113 million loss in the year-earlier quarter. For 2019 as a whole, TV Azteca posted a net profit of MXN 1.05 billion compared to a MXN 652 million loss in 2018, its first positive result in 5 years.
