TV Azteca to launch two new free to air DTT channels

Mexican broadcaster and content producer TV Azteca (Grupo Salinas) has announced the imminent launch of two new channels on the national free-to-air DTT multiplex. In a statement, TV Azteca said adn40 and a+ will use multiprogramming technology for the first time in Mexico, with adn40 reaching 85 million people via channel 40.1 in the Valley of Mexico and channel 1.2 in the rest of the country. The other new channel, a+, will initially air via channel 7.2 in Mexico City, Guadalajara, Leon, Monterrey and Toluca, before gradually expanding across the rest of the country before the end of the
