TV Cultura launches app for Sony TVs

Brazilian national TV channel TV Cultura has announced it will provide content for connected TV sets. Its application is already available on Sony connected devices, including TVs, Blu-Ray players and home theatres. Among the programs available on the platform are Roda Viva, Ensaio and Viola, Minha Viola, in full and in HD. According to the public channel, the partnership with Sony is the first. For 2013 there are plans to launch apps for TV sets from LG and Panasonic.
