The TV is still the favourite entertainment device of the Danes, used the most by nearly 40 percent, according to a survey by YouGov for NRGi. The smartphone follows at 19 percent, and the tablet is third at 12 percent. NRGi said the advent of streaming has helped the TV regain popularity. The growing share of over-65s in the population may also explain the TV's popularity, as the TV is by far the most-used among nearly half of this age group. Only 19 percent of the 18-34 age group chose the TV first; the laptop is more popular, followed by the smartphone.
