Twitter forms French subsidiary

Twitter has formed a company in France with EUR 37,000 in capital, Le Figaro reports. The new unit is a subsidiary of Twitter International, based in Ireland. Twitter France is using a temporary address in a business centre in the 2nd district of Paris. Its next step will be to open offices in the spring and to hire five to ten workers tasked with growing the microblogging website's user base and monetising its service in the country.
