Two out of 5 Germans plan telecoms purchase in next year

Almost two in five German internet or mobile phone users intend to make a telecommunications purchase in the coming year, a new study has found. Figures from German online media research house AGOF found that 23.4 million Germans were planning to buy either a mobile, digital or internet device in the next twelve months, representing around 44.5 percent of all internet and mobile users. Around 16.95 million people intended to buy a mobile phone while 12.73 million planned to sign up to a new mobile phone contract.
