Two thirds of French to shop online for Christmas - study

Some 64 percent of French consumers plan to buy Christmas presents online this year and 80 percent will go online to plan their purchases, according to Mediametrie//NetRatings. The number of 'future internet shoppers' is up by 11 percentage points on last year. For seniors, it is 21 points higher. About 27 percent of people planning to buy gifts online this Christmas did not do so last year.
