UAE re-elected as chair of global IoT study group

The UAE has been re-elected to chair the Study Group 20 of the Internet of Things (IoT) and Smart Cities at the recent World Telecommunication Standardization Assembly (WTSA) in Tunisia. The UAE has been also elected to vice chair the Study Group 2 on the Numbering Standard. The UAE representative in the ITU, Nasser Al Marzouqi, has been elected to chair the Study Group of IoT and Smart Cities, while Saif Bin Ghelaita, director Technology Development Affairs in TRA, has been elected the vice-chairman of the Study Group of Numbering Standard.
