UAE tops United Nations' regional government electronic services maturity index

The UAE has been ranked first in the Arab region in the Government Electronic and Mobile Services (GEMS) Maturity Index, according to a report by the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA). The GEMS Maturity Index measures the maturity of government services provided by online portals and smart applications in the Arab countries.
