UAE TRA participates in a SAMENA council roundtable meeting on fibre optics

The UAE Telecommunication Regulatory Authority (TRA) has participated in a roundtable session organised by the SAMENA Telecommunications Council to discuss the future of fibre-optics networks. They discussed the importance, utility and reliability of fibre, in particular with regard to data safety and long-distance transmission, and the role of fibre in supporting innovation policies in sectors such as 5G, IoT and smart city technology.
