UAE TRA sponsors ITU remote meeting platform

Friday 19 June 2020 | 10:43 CET | News
The UAE Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) has signed a sponsorship agreement with the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) for the Multilingual Interactive Remote Participation (MIRP) platform, to enable ITU members to participate in remote meetings using any of the six official languages of the ITU. This is a contribution from the UAE to keep ITU meetings going, as they play a significant role in decision-making and enabling normal life to function in different parts of the world.
