UAE's investment in AI reaches USD 2.15 bln in 10 years

The UAE has been the second highest regional investor in Artificial Intelligence (AI) over the past ten years, spending USD 2.15 billion in total, according to the AI Maturity Report in the Middle East and Africa (MEA). The study commissioned by Microsoft and conducted by Ernst & Young (EY) says the state of AI at businesses in the UAE is expected to improve dramatically over the next three years. Already, 18 percent of businesses there consider AI their most important digital priority.
