UAE's TRA appoints Al Mansouri as new director general

The UAE President Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan has issued a federal decree appointing Hamad Obaid Al Mansouri as director general of the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA). Al Mansouri has been the director general of the UAE mGovernment project since April 2014 and the deputy director general of information and eGovernment from May 2013 to April 2014. He holds a Master's degree in Multimedia (Computer Science) from Middlesex University, UK. Al Mansouri has also held various positions, including as a technical consultant in many government entities and institutions.
