UFC attacks mobile operators over 'unlimited' contracts

French consumer association UFC-Que Chosir has challenged the country's mobile operators to re-examine and republish their so-called 'unlimited' contracts within three weeks or it will start taking legal action against alleged abusive clauses and misleading commercial practices. UFC writes that it has found hidden unpleasant surprises in most of the new subscriptions launched by operators since the market entry of Free Mobile on 10 January. Operators are now prosing Sim-only deals with unlimited calls and/or unlimited messaging, as well as mobile internet access for around EUR 20 a month. The
