UFC sues operators over advertising, abusive contract terms

French consumer association UFC-Que Choisir has filed a lawsuit against Numericable for misleading advertising and has sued ten other mobile operators for abusive clauses in their contract terms and conditions. The association said it welcomed the fact that negotiations with operators began after it raised these issues earlier in the year, but insufficient progress has been made. It is taking Numericable to court for describing as "unlimited" service plans that only include 14 hours a month of calls.
